How can we
help you grow?
A calm corner of Sporeboard for every question about listing, getting paid, and staying verified.
When do I get paid?
Once you mark your content as delivered, the brand has 3–5 days to confirm (3 days for returning brands, 5 days for first-time brands). If they confirm early, your payout is released immediately. If there's no response within the window, funds are automatically released. Stripe then deposits to your bank within 1–2 business days.
Getting started
11 answersSign up, complete your creator profile — niche, audience size, and pricing — and your listing goes live in the marketplace immediately. There are no approval gates; you appear to brands as soon as your profile is set up.
No. Sporeboard doesn't enforce a minimum follower count. Any creator can list — what matters to brands is your niche, engagement, and pricing, not a follower threshold.
Yes. You can create up to 4 packages on your profile — for example, a story post, a feed post, a reel, or a bundle. One package can be marked as featured to appear most prominently. Brands choose the package they want when booking.
Yes. You set your rate on your creator profile and can update it at any time. Brands see your price before booking and you're never obligated to accept a deal.
A live, public URL to the published content — a YouTube video, Instagram post, or TikTok video. You submit this from your creator dashboard when the content goes live. The brand uses this link to confirm the ad ran as expected.
Yes. While a booking is still in pending status — before you've accepted it — you can decline it from your creator dashboard. The brand's payment is refunded automatically. Once you accept a booking and it goes live, declining is no longer available; use the cancellation request flow instead.
Currently YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok. You list your primary platform when setting up your profile and can add secondary platforms too. Support for additional platforms is on the roadmap.
Yes. You can update your bio, pricing, packages, and profile details at any time from your creator dashboard. Changes take effect immediately. Note that any deals already booked at the previous price are not affected — the rate a brand paid is locked at the time of booking.
Contact the brand through the deal messages as early as possible. If you need more time, use the "Request date change" option on the deal — the brand will be notified and has 48 hours to accept or decline. If they accept, the posting date updates automatically. If the deal can't go ahead at all and both parties agree, either side can submit a cancellation request instead — the brand is refunded. If neither change is agreed to, try to deliver as close to the original date as possible and submit proof when it's live. Failing to deliver without agreement will result in a dispute and likely a full refund to the brand.
Yes — this is your legal responsibility. FTC guidelines (and equivalent rules in other countries) require you to clearly disclose paid partnerships with a label like #ad, #sponsored, or the platform's built-in paid partnership tag. Sporeboard doesn't enforce this on your behalf, but failing to disclose can expose you to regulatory risk. When in doubt, disclose.
Not on a single account — each account is either a creator account or a brand account. If you're a creator who also runs a brand (or vice versa), create a second account with a separate email address for the other role.
Payouts
5 answersSporeboard charges 15% per transaction — no subscriptions, no upfront costs. On a $100 booking, Stripe deducts their processing fee (~3%) first, then you receive 85% of the remainder. Founding creators (first 100 on the platform) lock in 10% for life and receive a permanent 🍄 badge on their listing.
No. You can list, get discovered, and be booked by brands without connecting Stripe — it's only needed to receive payouts. If a deal completes before you connect, Sporeboard holds your earnings safely with no expiry and releases them automatically the moment you connect Stripe. So you can connect it before or after your first booking, whenever you're ready.
Go to Payouts in your creator dashboard and click 'Connect Stripe.' You'll complete Stripe's standard Connect onboarding — it takes about 5 minutes. You don't need Stripe to get booked, but you do need it to receive payouts; any completed deals are held safely and release automatically once you connect.
Once Sporeboard releases your funds — either after the brand confirms delivery or after the auto-release window (3–5 days depending on whether it's the brand's first deal) — Stripe processes the transfer within 1–2 business days on a standard payout schedule. You can view your payout status directly in your Stripe dashboard.
Your first Stripe payout may take 7–14 days to process — this is Stripe's standard new account verification period and is outside Sporeboard's control. After that first payout clears, all subsequent payouts arrive within 1–2 business days. You can check the status of any pending transfer directly in your Stripe dashboard under Payouts.
Verification
2 answersThe verified badge appears on your listing and signals to brands that Sporeboard has confirmed you own the account you listed. It's a trust signal — brands looking for authentic, fraud-free partnerships will filter for or favour verified creators. You only need to verify once per platform.
Go to your creator dashboard and click "Request Verification." You'll see platform-specific instructions: for Instagram or TikTok, send a DM to @sporeboard with exactly !verify from the account you listed. For YouTube, comment !verify on our verification video (youtu.be/s7MSmZjcyjw) while signed into your channel's Google account. Once you've done that, click the confirmation button in the dashboard to submit your request. Keep the comment or DM visible — our team manually checks it. Expect a response within 24–48 hours. You'll be notified when approved or if we couldn't find your message.
