Before you can browse or book, you'll be prompted to complete a short onboarding form — your company name, product description, and target audience. Creators see this when they review your booking, so be specific.
Filter by platform (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Newsletter) and find a creator whose audience fits your product. Look for the verified badge — it means Sporeboard has confirmed they're real.
You have two ways to work with a creator. Book directly at their listed price — pick a slot date, write your ad copy (the brief the creator works from), and complete checkout through Stripe in one step. Or send a custom offer at a lower price from their listing page (minimum 50% of their listed price), with an optional message. If the creator accepts, you'll get a link to book at that rate. Track sent offers in your dashboard.
Direct booking charges your card immediately and holds the funds. A custom offer has no payment until the creator accepts — once they accept, you have 48 hours to complete checkout or the deal is automatically cancelled.
Once the creator accepts your custom offer, you have exactly 48 hours to complete checkout. Go to your dashboard, find the accepted offer under "Sent offers," and click the booking link. If you don't pay within 48 hours, the offer is automatically cancelled and the creator is notified — no charge is made to you, but you'll need to send a new offer to try again.
This step only applies to custom offers. For direct bookings you already paid at step 4 — skip to the next step.
Once you pay (directly or via a custom offer), the funds don't go to the creator — Sporeboard holds them until delivery is confirmed. For direct bookings, the creator then has 72 hours to accept your booking; if they decline or don't respond, you're automatically refunded. For custom offer bookings, the creator already accepted the offer, so the booking moves forward directly.
For direct bookings, the creator reviews your booking details and accepts or declines within 72 hours. You'll get an email either way. If they decline or don't respond within 72 hours, your payment is automatically refunded in full — you get every penny back, and Sporeboard absorbs the Stripe processing fee. Nothing else is required from you at this stage.
On the agreed slot date, the creator publishes the sponsored content. You'll be notified when they submit proof of delivery — a link to the live post.
You have 3–7 days from when the creator submits proof to respond (7 days for your first deal, 3 days for subsequent deals). If you confirm, the payment releases immediately. If you don't respond, Sporeboard auto-releases the payment after your review window. If you believe the content wasn't delivered as agreed, you can file a dispute — Sporeboard support will review it and the auto-release is paused until it's resolved.
The creator receives their payout and the deal is marked complete. You can leave a review on their profile.
